Passion

Great meeting last night at Pensacola house of Prayer. Remember every Friday we meet for a time of worship. This next Friday we will be meeting at Kingsway Church on Hwy 29 (details to follow by email).

Today is officially the halfway point of this fast. We are on day 20. You never really think about it but 40 days is a very long time. They say if you doing anything faithfully for thirty days it becomes a habit. My prayer for each of you is that daily prayer for our city becomes a habit in your lives.

The word that God was speaking last night was about passion. He was putting a seed of passion in our lives. I fully expect passion will begin to blossom in our lives as this year progresses. We require passion in order to fulfill God's purposes in our lives. If there is no passion then we are just going through the motions. Some call that religion or even legalism. We become religious when we follow the rules without being passionate about the rule maker. It is passion that allows me to keep pressing even when I am tired or discouraged.

Today we are praying for personal needs. Pray for God to give you a passion for Him and His purposes!
